How will Level 2 support remotely log into my computer?

Planit Australia has a specialist premium Remote log in software supplied by BeyondTrust, where temporary administrator remote access to your computer is provided to Planit Australia representative.

Once the session is finished Planit Australia or anyone else is unable to log back in, protecting your security. 

If the connection drops during the remote session you will need to complete the steps again to provide our team with remote access again.

Step 1
When we contact you requesting access to your computer please go to the website

Step 2
Click on the name of the Planit Representative



Step 3
Please enter your name.



We are able to remote into multiple computers at once so the more information the better. 

In example above if were to log into Jacks computer the name could be "Jack - Jims Cabinets - Desktop"

Step 4.
Once you click submit the request will be received on our end. 

We will then request access to your computer which you can click Accept on the pop up



Step 5
At this point the temporary remote software bomgar-xxxxx.exe will be downloaded by your internet browser. 
Every computer setup can be slightly different here, the settings and location of the downloads within your browser can be different to the screenshots below. 

Example here is using Edge browser with the downloads "pinned"


Chrome can appear at the top, or down the bottom depending what version you have installed. 

All browsers should have the download in Windows File Explorer also. 


The temporary software is only a small file in most cases only takes a few seconds to download. 

Once downloaded please run the file (double click if accessing from Downloads in File Explorer)

Step 6
Allow
access for us to view and control your computer

Once session has ended we are no longer able to access your computer. 

If session drops out or connection lost you need to start back from step 1 to click on the representative name again - The remote download file is temporary and single use only. 

If administrator restrictions are in place we will need these removed or password provided.
Often IT consultants control these passwords. 

We can view multiple screens on your computer but only able to view 1 screen at a time. 

We can also use the software to transfer files from our computer to yours and vise versa. 

Since CABINET VISION 2024.1 we have worked with the Hexagon Development team to get the web rescue button on the welcome screen to work.
